I would have to say, if I had the money, I would buy this whole series on DVD/Blu-ray. It's that good. Everything about this show, from the acting to the camera work and direction, is just top notch. Everything just seems so real and believable, unlike most of the dumb shows on television. The ending was, for the most part, a fitting end, though a little more open ended than I would have liked (though still far better than The Sopranos- GOD that was awful!). I highly recommend at least giving The Shield a look as this is one of the best shows that you'll see in a long time.

Looks like they saved the best for last. I wanted it to end a little differently than the way it did but I must give credit to the cast and crew of the series......Excellent!!!!!!!

A truly unique television show from conception in writing to the dynamic casting of relatively unkowns, as well as bringing in top Hollywood Movie Actors and Actresses. This season (Finale) has been a train-wreck coming since the first episode of the series. Long live the "hazy-shade-of-gray" Vic Mackey...and the consequences or lack their of it and justice.
