GL fans are going to love this reboot. No chances taken with the story line or the animation, but its when you get to the extras you get an impression of just what kind of a ...well labor of love... it was for the production team. I dont want to go on and on about material that you may have no interest in, however if you are a GL fan it would be worth while to hit the extras on the blu-ray.

I've never been much of a Green Lantern fan. I've found similar characters in Marvel's universe that are more interesting. However, this origin story with a bit of a new take was worth watching. This isn't brain surgery, this is bubble gum. Hopefully, the live action movie will be as engaging. If you end up not liking this, don't skip over the other DC/Warner Bros superhero one-shots. You'll be doing yourself a disservice.

First of all, this is not sci-fi! This is an animated cartoon for children under the age of ten. The storyline is weak predictable and I doubt if kids would sit through this. It looks like an old Hanna Barbara or DC Comics cartoon.
