A true story of one woman's courage and strength to keep her children alive..the hell this woman went through over years of abuse was heart breaking..Ms. Baker had a trial, was convicted and sentenced all three within 20 min's..Only one case like this one in the State of Georgia's History..Highly Recommend..

Incredible Movie. Some of it was unbelievable in this day and age, but maybe back then it was totally the norm. Definitely worth watching.

Nothing of this nature was ever taught in my schools. (60's thru 1973). I can't get enough of this kind of History. It sickens me to see how Black people were treated. If it were not for their "Faith" in God, how could they have stayed sane. Great Cast, but it still leaves me with a Broken Heart.
