A fun low budget, comicbook horror flick, much like "Evil Dead" or "Cemetery Man". "You never, ever trust a corpse", pretty much tells the tale. Combining campy gore with comicbook illustrations to describe characters, and there's lots of quirky characters. Plays around a lot with horror clich'es; ghouls and graveyards, shipwrecked islandes and rival gangs of grave robbers, creepy laboratories and an extraterrestrial. And these guys take it all in stride to make a buck. Interesting camera work, creative use of locations and sets, absurd story. Predictable? Yeap, but in some unexpected ways, all coming back together at the end. This ain't a non-stop "Van Helsing" action flick, it's just a sick morbid fun ride.

I really enjoyed this tongue in cheek romp with the grave robbers cashing in on the undead. An amusing horror flick.

Witty dialogue, clever repartay, and fully emoting denizens of the netherworld make this film stand 3 cuts above the usual Victorian claptrap horror show. Finger-lickin' and bitin' good!
