I like it. It has some serious flaws, but its merits compensate enough to make it worth watching. The beginning is slow, and uneven. Twenty minutes in I was ready to turn it off - It felt cliched and unfocused. The biggest flaw is the Andy character - poorly written, poorly acted. His first long scene, the gay party, feels completely out of place. It breaks the narrative flow and sets a totally different tone than the rest of the film. But I stayed with it, and am glad I did. Nate bothered me at first, he's so lost at the start, and seems such a poor white trash stereotype, but he develops believably and likeably. The actor deserves a lot of credit for creating that image, he communicates a lot with the way he holds himself, the way he chooses to say nothing. The chemistry between Nate and Andy was a stretch, again because of Andy. The big revelation of the plot was a surprise to me, but felt completely right. Resist your discomfort, and you may like this as I did.

The DVD Jacket is the most exciting part of this movie. Very boring, empty and bad acting.

Weak plot (not believeable b/c the TRUST among the two main characters is built w/o much validation). Poor actors (especially the emo kid who did some awful improv in the movie). I would say it's worth a watch after you've exhausted better options. The review above mine summarized the movie best, I just wouldn't rank it so highly.
