But Tony Stark has a surprise up his sleeve in the form of four amazing teenagers who just might have the power to defeat Ultron once and for all. But will James (son of Captain America and Black Widow), Pym (son of Wasp and Giant Man), Torunn (daughter of Thor) and Azari (son of the Black Panther) truly be capable of defeating the villain who brought about the downfall of their powerful parents? As the battle gets underway and Hawkeye's sharp-shooting son leaps into the fray, the team realizes that they might stand a fighting chance if they can only track down the mission Hulk and encourage him to become a member of the team. Both of my boys ( 5 and 8) really loved this movie! The Next Avengers are their new favorite superheroes! It had enough of a storyline to keep me interested too (at least for the first 4 or 5 times they watched it). Lots of action and little to no blood, which is always appreciated. My boys also liked figuring out which of the original Avengers were the parents of the kids. Also, none of the characters in the movie die (except the parents in the begining, but you don't actually see them get killed. It is told as a fairytale to the kids.). If your kids love superheros, I would recommend this one.

It was awful. "Son of..." movies are always the worst. Only politicians' kids end up as politicians. Every other kid makes their own career. Thor having a daughter who does not live in Asgard makes no sense at all. You'd think she had a first class ticket to the most gated of communities. I had to fast-forward through it as the story will put you to sleep if the pace hasn't already done so. If you have a kid between 4 and 8 this is for them. Over 9 years of age and your kid(s) will recognize the condescension.

This movie was indeed kid friendly, but had enough of a storyline to keep most adults entertained. The kid Super Heros also weren't over the top kid(ish), if you're into Marvel comics this is must see...
