A great amount of attention to detail is evident, right down to the quality of the film, the wardrobe, the lighting, the soulful soundtrack, and the primitive camera techniques that makes us forty- and fifty-somethings feel nostalgic. The character Bullhorn is a low-rent Dolemite, and I mean that as a term of endearment. And how can you go wrong with characters named Cream Corn, Sweet Meat, and Kotex? Michael Jai White, best known as the star of Spawn, brings back the spirit of B-movie urban heroics and sweet, sweet lovin' to all of the fine sistahs. And the top sistah has got to be Kym E. Whitley as Honey Bee, an obvious nod to Lady Reed's portrayal of Queen Bee in Dolemite and The Human Tornado. P.S., If you look closely, you might just see someone who bears a strong resemblance to a young Richard Pryor in one scene. Either he's a dead-on celebrity lookalike, or they found a way to take his image from another movie and splice it in seamlessly.

This movie was more amusing than real funny but I did enjoy how the movie looked like movies from the early 70's. For that reason I would recommend but wish the script was stronger. Just missed.
