This PBS series was the TV offshoot of the trendy science-and-technology magazine WIRED. Like the print original, the televised version focused on new inventions, ground-breaking research, and "celebrity geniuses" in the high-tech field, utilizing field reports, demonstrations and "how-to" sessions. The purpose of the series was to illustrate how modern technology affected everyone's lives, though other branches of science were also covered. Hosting the series were former MTV host Chris Hardwick and TV actress Kamala Lopez (Medium).
