This is a mess. The DVD has no special features, no chapters, no audio enhancements or sub-titles. You will not be able to understand at least 50% of the movie because of the poor audio. It is as if they reversed the voices to the background and used the never ending wind and terrible music with constant drums to the foreground. Good luck. The cinematography was terrible. They used some sort of sepia filter to soften and washout the entire picture. I am sure there was a decent story line to this film but I could not hear it. I tried every control on my stereo receiver to no avail. The movie is very slow and than has one of the worse endings of all time. Maybe it would have made more sense if I could have understood more of the story line. If I could rate the 1000's of DVD's I have seen in order this one would be at the bottom of the list.

I thought this film was visually stunning. The dvd packaging and the dvd itself conveyed a different message than what the film actually was. The story was somewhat predictable but it didn't lag and held its own over the course of the film. The visuals carried the film while the acting held up its end throughout. Overall it was an enjoyable film.
