Intelligently authored to take the "objective" view of the alternative energy future. The most sticking quote from the movie: "The Stoneage did not end because we ran out of stones"

Same old solar and wind pitch. People in movie often make reference to free energy and they just can't understand why societyy is not using it. They completely ignore cost and payback schedules. Solar is not free. It can take 15 years just to break even. Furthermore it's only reasonable in some regions of the country. So to critique the movie; it is very one-sided in support of renewable but not realistic in the real world application.
