I really enjoyed this movie. It was sweet and charming. While this movie departed from the original Jane Austen book, of the same title, I believe this created license was taken in the effort to make the movie more enjoyable to watch. The characters were so sweet and I loved the chemistry between Mr. Tierney and Ms. Moreland. A great movie for young and old to enjoy.

This is not my favorite Jane Austen story, by far, but it is definitely much better than the BBC version I saw years ago. Andrew Davies is an amazing screenwriter. He has done so much good for the more popular Austen "books-to-movies" & I just knew, as soon as I saw that this was his work, that I would enjoy it. I was right. :)
