Great old movie. Viewers in their 60's will probably identify better with the plot and location. Great cast with Jim Hutton, George Hamilton, Dolores Hart, Paula Prentiss, and Connie Francis. The scene in the restaurant where everyone jumps into the water is hilarious.

This film is truly refreshing - remembering times when young girls had morals. But the whole film was just adorable: in color, story and song. It's a film that leaves you feeling good inside.

This is a well done precursor to the Avalon & Funicello formula. Characters are developed, dramatic stuff happens. Gorshin, Hutton, Prentiss, Francis all do fine jobs, and no one is bad. Go see the Elbo Room, it's a real place.
