Chi Kuan Chun usally plays a one dimensional character lacking any charisma. His biggest assets are his kung fu skills and chiseled body, but in this movie, he actually is a hero that you can empathize with. The same country bumpkin character that you have seen in many other kung fu movies, but I must admit that CKC really looked hapless at the beginning of the movie. Later we see some great cameos from Wu Ma, Meng Fei and the legendary bad guy turned good guy in this movie, Leung Kar Yan. The humorous fight scenes are pretty well choreographed, with the over the top fight scene featuring Meng Fei making the bad guy drink from a precariously placed wine bottle. Not a top notch martial arts movie, but it was very fun to watch. Highly Recommended.
