Veteran funnyman Morey Amsterdam eschews his usual "Buddy Sorrell" cheekiness to essay a serious role in this episode. Amsterdam is cast as disgruntled lockpicker Marty Dreen, who assists Friday (Jack Webb) and Smith Ben Alexander in their search for a payroll-check forger.
