The movie's title is the name of an Iron Maiden, where the main character played by Rossana Podesta finds the mutilated corpse of the maid in the first scene of the movie. Of course, she has to slowly...very, very, slowly tour every last inch of the house, servants' quarters, garden, torture chamber, dungeon, crypts, etc. and doesn't think about running away from this place until after surviving a run-in with the hooded killer a whole three times! Shriek Show's DVD has an excellent anamorphic widescreen picture and mono sound, but the English dubbing of this Italian picture is bad. Christopher Lee has a small part as a servant but he doesn't dub his own voice.

First, be warned that this is also shown under the title of CASTLE HORROR. Ok film. Color vivid but Lee really doesn't have the main part. Plot is ok. The rat cage is something to think about!! Why does the husband have the bandage on his hand too? This reminded me of a Hammer film. ~ Susan L.
