I rented this movie for my husband. He's still raving about it. Great actors, good plot.

"THE VIOLENT MEN" is a really good classic western. Well-directed with great talent from the era - quite a few familiar faces starting with Brian Keith. Like James Stewart, nearly any movie that Glenn Ford was in assures a quality picture. This is definitely no exception. Recommended.

With all of the amazing actors featured in this film, one would expect it to actually be good. However, the film fell flat, turning into a western soap opera with lots of shooting. Not worth watching
