A darn silly, but likeable movie. Oh, there just happens to be an empty hotel around the corner. Sure.

This movie is full of bad messages. I volunteer with animal rescue and have spent time working with several shelters and this movie made me cringe. Described in the synopsis as "mischievous" these kids are lying, stealing, & law-breakers. Hording is a tragic twisted turn to dog rescue, and this movie is an example of hording. It paints a simplistic and false view of animal control as sadistic & uncaring which I have never known to be the case. Rather than waste time with this movie, you will get more joy from animals & contribute more to the world by spending your time volunteering at your local shelter. Get to know the people working hard there to save animals & you, too, will find this movie hard to swallow. Don't let your kids watch unless you want them to learn that it's ok to lie, break & enter, steal, and horde excessive numbers of animals.
