First off, let me state that this is my first review, but I found this "documentary" to be so bad that I had to write about it. While I am sure that Sheriff Hewitt is a hardworking, honest man, this does not show deputies doing their job, but for the most part shows Sheriff Hewitt working with the media. Don't get me wrong, a good relationship with the media is essential to law enforcement and a community, but this just makes the Sheriff look like a media "hog". It was particulary sad to see the last chapter, as the Sheriff's Office in question and the North Carolina State Police working well together to capture an escaped prisoner. But once the inmate was captured, instead of crediting the hard working officers who actually caught the fugitive, this Sheriff made sure that he got to personally escort the prisoner in front of the cameras, which is a slap in the face to everyone else who worked so hard to re-capture this fugitive.
