I was on a little league team from the Imperial Valley CA, that lost to the La Mesa Team 1-0 in the bottom of the 6th inning, La Mesa was the home team. I always wondered, what if we had won that day. The movie not only brought back memories, moreover, I didn't realize the monumental obstacles that the Monterey Team overcame just to be ready in time to compete against U.S. teams that had been playing organized baseball many more years. It's a beautiful movie. I told many of my relatives about it and plan to make sure they all get a copy of the movie for their DVD Library. I would recomment this movie to anyone who loves baseball, the underdog, or feels the challenges of life are too great to overcome. It's all a matter of "ganas" (desire).

One of the best movies I have seen in a long, long time. This movie has soul and feelings. It makes you laugh and cry. To top it off it is a true story of an almost impossible feat.
