Set in Vietnam in 1967, the series concentrated on the perilous activities of Bravo Company. While this is essentially an "ensemble" piece, special attention is given hardened veteran sergeant Zeke Anderson (Terence Knox) and shavetail lieutenant Goldman (Stephen Caffrey). Dramatic complications include a soldier who refuses to fire a rifle, and a tenuous friendship between an American POW and an NVA doctor.
