Yuch!!! Armand Assante must not have read this script or just needed the money. The acting was terrible and the writing was just as good. I don't understand the high blockbuster initial rating for this movie. The writer and/or director could not decide whether this was supposed to be a spoof or a serious horror movie - it was neither. The dragon was a joke and probably was on screen for about ten minutes at the end which was about ten minutes too long. As a matter of fact, the entire movie was eighty-seven minutes too long.

This movie had every cliche ever written within it's script. It was truly the worst movie I have seen all year. The plot was predictable, the writing third rate and the acting stiff and unnatural. In fact, this movie is so bad it might be considered a "camp classic" if discovered in a time capsule one day...which come to think of it is exactly where this movie belongs.....buried deep underground! It was not scarey, not interesting, and not fun to watch............a true waste of armand assante who i have enjoyed in the past..........he must really be in a difficult period of his life.

This movie had better than usual writing and planning...the effects were good and the vampiric treatment of the legend of St. George and the Dragon was done better than might be expected based on most movies made in such a way. Although the Dragon was onscreen less than desired and seemed to be mindless, and the fact that the movie ended a bit fast and tidy...I fully recommend watching it at least once. Armand Assante performed a well written vampire part rather well. This one gets 4 paws...or two claws up...whichever you will, from the Wolfman.
