Compelling stories of the war in the Pacific. Better production than "Band of Brothers" and multiple lead characters keeps it more interesting over the series. Combat scenes are very realistic and accurate, but thankfully lack the enhanced gore of Band of Bros. Love stories, personal reflections, and the home front add new dimension to a war story. Truly, a Must-See.

As a Marine, i am very critical of how we are depicted in the media and in movies. I am proud to say that this series has exceeded my expectations. It is the BEST production of WWII that I have ever seen. God bless the producers Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg. God bless America. And, may God continue to bless the United States Marines Coprs!!!

I am a huge war movie guy, and there is Nothing better than the pacific out there, I really like Band of brothers, but Tom and Steve really out did themselves this time. Guys, and gals, The Pacific is amazing. It motivates you so much to appreciate the men and women who serve. These guys back in the day have gone threw some rough times. I would give this 100 stars!! All scenes are awesome, especially those of Guadalcanal... !
