A helicopter pilot whose wife was violently killed by a massive shark finds his attempt to recover from the trauma complicated by the sudden reappearance of the man eating ocean dweller in director Jorgo Papavassiliou's tense tale of deep sea terror. Ever since Sven Hanson (Ralph Moeller)'s wife was taken from him by the most fearsome predator known to man, and the dedicated pilot's personal and professional lives have both taken a drastic turn for the worst. While the peace on calm he experiences after relocating to the exotic island of Mallorca goes a long way in helping Sven to put the past behind him, past horrors sometimes have a frightening way of catching up to the present.
