Fantastic show ! Some of the scenes border on mild pornagraphy so it's not something you'd let the kiddies watch to buff up their old world history class. The only problem I've encountered is getting the seasons out of sequence. Jonathan Rhys-Meyers is awesome.

Soap opera in fancy dress. I don't mind a few historical inaccuracies here and there, but the blatant rewriting of historical fact (Margaret Tudor was Queen of Scots, not of Queen of the Portuguese--and she didn't murder her husband!) makes this an exercise in gratuitous Tudor T&A.
