As an avid festival movie watcher, I am constantly taking a chance. One or two out of every ten films are worth renting. This one is a keeper, I usually figure movies out within the first 5 min, but for the life of me I didn't expect the ending. Take a chance and watch this one. It is clever and funny. The script is written well, and the the actors are solid and natural. I am looking forward to seeing more form this team.

I'm not a fan of indie flicks but this was recommended to me- I really enjoyed it and laughed a lot. Not sure what else I can say but it's worth renting.

I co-wrote the music to this film. Obviously, I want you to rent it and enjoy it, but I'm not going to lie to trick you into watching it. What follows are my honest thoughts... "In the Dark" is part mystery/suspense, but it's too funny to fall comfortably into that category. This truly is one of those movies that defies conventional categorization. I won't bother talking about what the plot is since an adequate description will probably be on this site sooner or later. However, I will say that the plot held my attention throughout and had a nice arc to it. The actors play their roles well, definitely better than your average independent project. The dialogue is natural and reinforces some of the movie's themes. I don't know much about cinematography, the movie "looks" pretty good to me. Does it look like Lord of the Rings? No. But it doesn't look like The Blair Witch Project either. And the music...well...I think it's excellent. ;-) Anyways, that's that. I hope you enjoy it!
