Synopsis of The Waltons: The Comeback
In order to pay for his tuition at the music conservatory, Jason (Jon Walmsley) takes a job at the Dew Drop Inn, a local roadhouse. Naturally, Olivia (Michael Learned) and Grandma (Ellen Corby) are opposed to this, terrified that their darling boy will fall in with a "bad crowd." As the story progresses, Jason reconnects with Red Turner (Merle Haggard), a former musician who has given up on his career--and on life--since the dead of his own son Seth, who'd been Jason's best friend.
