An amazing movie! So well acted and written; will make you become part of the script. So wish it were available!

This is one of the greatest love stories of all time. Set in the 1800s English countryside, it's the classic tale of love found, then lost. I went to see it in the theatre in 1988 when it opened. It is a very emotional, yet entertaining experience. It takes you there, and makes you feel all of their emotions. Everyone should experience it at least once, if they get a chance. I have looked for it a long time, and hope one day it will be available here.

One of the greatest romantic movies of all time. Should have won Oscars for best director, best original score, and best supporting actor Ken Colley
