The Recruiter concerns a fifteen year old boy named Shiza who makes his living winning brutal underground bare-knuckle fights. His life takes a turn when he feels guilt after a fellow fighter dies in the ring. Shiza makes contact with the man's widow, and soon falls in love with her.
