This is an interesting look at how a person's stereotypical perception/opinion of a culture can quickly become truth to so many others who don't care to take the time to discover truth. The movie's simple plot is carried along by the superb acting of Morgan Freeman, his depth of character really made Christopher Reeves, the actor, look amateurish and out of his league which was perfect for the character he played. Worth seeing once.

I suppose one could say the acting was good, but that likely could be said for just about any movie. Much too violent for me - you can read about such things in the papers. Morgan Freeman is a real nasty. HOWEVER; Kathy Baker and Mimi Rogers come to the rescue and at least make it a visual treat.
