John (Randolph Mantooth) seethes with jealousy and impatience as another paramedic, Tom Wheeler (Gary Crosby), is transformed into a media hero by virtue of several very minor rescues. Dr. Brackett (Robert Fuller) is likewise in a foul humor as the result of a clash of wills with a wealthy and powerful patient (Gene Raymond).
