This film is a must see for any horror fan. It covers the genre's beginnings with "Psycho," it's rise following the success of "Halloween," to the eventual decline in the late 80's, and resurrection in the late 90's with the "Scream" type slashers. Includes interviews with many horror favorites such as Tom Savini, Sean Cunningham, Wes Craven & Stan Winston. They even managed to get Betsy Palmer to talk about "Friday the 13th." Although not all inclusive (no Robert Englund?) and a bit lacking in special features, "Going to Pieces" remains a fun overview of horror's most notorious sub-genre.
