Agarn (Larry Storch) has greatness thrust upon him when it turns out that he holds the deciding vote in a hotly contested mayoral campaign in his home town of Pasaic, New Jersey. Before long, both of the candidates--Derby Dan McGurney (Tol Avery) and George C. Bragen (Lew Parker)--have descended upon Fort Courage to curry favor with Agarn and win his absentee ballot.
