My wife and I really enjoyed this movie. We found it an emotional story of a girl seeking refuge, when her mother and grandparents didn't know she was being hurt. She was seeking the security of the spirt of her dead father. The story combines several elements including the racism of the 1965 era, and the irrational thinking of hyped up groups. We enjoyed the movie and the story, not finding it boring at all. The acting was better than fair. We recommend the movie.

I like family films but this was not only corny but bad. Poorly acted and directed, this was just too painful to watch.

I ENJOYED THIS MOVIE. IT IS A SENSITIVE STORY OF A LOVING EXTENDED FAMILY AND AN EVIL INTRUDER (A WOLF IN SHEEP CLOTHING TYPE), TRYING TO MARRY INTO IT. THE LITTLE GIRL, LILY, IS SPLENDID. I LIKE BERNIE CASEY'S CHARACTER, AMOS. HE IS WILLING TO HELP AND PROTECT LILY NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED. A FINE CAST.
