Synopsis of The Waltons: The Departure
Feeling somewhat confined and limited on Walton's Mountain, John (Ralph Waite) briefly takes leave of his family and accepts a shipyard job in faraway Norfolk. He finds temporary lodging in a boarding house managed by an attractive widow, Mrs. Champion (Joanna Moore).
