I actually saw this movie in Samoa when it first came out in March 2006, and that just made the movie even better than it already was. This movie is a great comedy, especially if get to know and love islander culture, specifically Samoan, even though this takes place in New Zealand. Its a very lighthearted comedy, and although it may come off as a Kiwi version of American Pie, it brings its own style and brand of original jokes and humor. This movie was pretty big in Australia, NZ, and the island nations over there, and although it is a different kind of humor, it is truly something to be appreciated. However, do not be expecting a movie that will set the bar for comedies, but in the end, it will make you laugh.

It may not be your typical comedy but I thought it was funny since I knew guys just like that. Though it is a comedy, it also highlights one of the things I admire about the Samoan culture and that's their love of family.

Hi Carlos, Please explain why it means to "act black." This is not a helpful or useful comment at all.
