Romance, espionage, suspense set in WWII. I liked Griffith's Character, Linda Voss, she is sassy and sure of herself. She keeps it together through the perils of Natzi Germany. Douglas' Character, Ed Leland, is smart confident, military man who understands that winning the war will require sacrafice..... But wil he sacrafice Linda??? One of my favorites, puts me on the edge of my seat every time!

I normally regard Melanie Griffith as a bit of a lightweight, in terms of acting; however, her acting is in this movie is quite convincing. The plot starts out a little slow, but builds to a very gripping climax.
