Petticoat Junction: A Cake from Granny (1968)
Charles Lane makes his final Petticoat Junction appearance in the role of nasty railroad executive Homer Bedloe. As the last gesture in his long-running efforts to scrap the Hooterville Cannonball, Bedloe has arranged the antique train engine to be replaced by an up-to-date bus service. This time, his scheme is foiled by two drop-ins from The Beverly Hillbillies: Granny Moses (Irene Ryan) and Miss Jane Hathaway (Nancy Kulp).
