The relationship between two women living in contemporary Berlin sets the stage for director Andreas Dresen's low-key look at urban existence. Nike (Nadja Uhl) and Katrin (Inka Friedrich) live a quiet life, often simply enjoying each other's company while perched on Nike's second-story balcony.
