Synopsis of Murphy Brown: Who Do You Truss?

While Jim (Charles Kimbrough) is undergoing a hernia operation, Murphy (Candice Bergen) and Frank (Joe Regalbuto) battle for the honor of pinch-hitting for Jim during the commentary portion of the show. Meanwhile, Corky (Faith Ford) finds herself saddled with a young protégée named Taffy (Christine Taylor), whom the rest of the staff dismisses as a "cabbagehead"--but whom Corky ruefully recognizes as an earlier incarnation of herself.
