This movie fits right in for it's time, but one thing it had going for it was the gore factor. Some of the scenes are very memorable. However, there are times where the movie tends to drag a bit, but overall it's a good flick!

Alot of Cronenberg's films tend to be talky, this is no exception, but it was interesting. Plenty of gore and one of the best slow motion head popping scenes I have ever seen! The finale is also terrific.

Excellent horror flick in which Modern horror should take note. It isn't often when a movie with gore has a well formed story behind it, accompanied by an unexpected ending. By the way, don't waste your time with the sequels.
