The game is an interactive choose-your-own-adventure type DVD where at certain points in the story you decide what you want the main character to do, which affects what happens next. The OAV is a re-telling of the game. A young Japanese high school graduate (whose name is never mentioned in the OAV, but in the game it was Reiji Azuma,) comes to LA on vacation, witnesses a mafia killing, and then is kidnapped and brainwashed by mob member Scythe and his female assassin/slave Ein, and his memory is erased. He's re-named Zwei, and now he must become the new assassin for the crime group Inferno. The show has lots of great action and violence, and good characterization. You really feel for the protagonists. Definetly rent.
