Record of Lodoss War is a complicated sword-and-sorcery epic about the battle for control of the magical island Lodoss. This two-disc set contains all 13 episodes of the entire fantasy adventure series. The original animated videos are presented in full screen with audio available in Dolby Digital 2.0 with an English dub or in Japanese with English subtitles. For being a collector's edition, this release has a meager amount of bonus material. In addition to the art gallery and character profiles, there is a fan convention with the Japanese cast, images from the comics, and reproductions of the scripts.
