A young couple traveling a lonely stretch of Las Vegas highway discover that they're not alone on the road in director James Lay's dark sci-fi thriller. Megan and Dylan were somewhere between Vegas and Reno when they decided to stop at a roadside restaurant to fill their empty stomachs and rest their weary eyes. Upon discovering that the notorious Area 51 is just a few short miles away, the curious travelers quickly get back behind the wheel in hopes that the shroud of midnight will give them the opportunity to get a glimpse of the top-secret military instillation. Strange things have been known to occur on this radiation-poisoned stretch road that runs through a former nuclear testing ground, though, and soon after an unsettling speech by Adolf Hitler takes over the couple's car radio, the entire vehicle suddenly dies. When a mysterious visitor from another time seems to materialize in the rear window before their very eyes, Megan and Dylan flee the car only to find that, in the unforgiving darkness of the desert, their strange journey has just begin. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Production = poor, really cheap, bad actors, nice music but not appropriate to the film Script = really poor, lack of imagination Photography = low quality, too dark, some shots with trembling camera like amateur ones without shake correction similar to The witch of Blair style ;-) Tip = if you like psychological thrillers then I'd suggest films such as : Dead End, Jacob's Ladder, The sixth sense, and Others.

I agree with the others. I knew it was low budget but I was fooled again by the cover and quote that suggested it might be more of a Hollywood quality B flick with decent production values and casting. Maybe even a sleeper , little known gem of a movie. They got me for the 500th time. Its a typical ultra low budget flick with really poor production values and casting. Who in the heck gave it 3 stars? Thats another thing that fooled me. Some people are giving a lot of these absolute steaming piles of waste 3 stars or so before they even hit BB making it seem as if they might be decent,

This movie reminds me of an amateur painter trying to get creative by using an excess of overlapping colors. The results is a canvas of mud. Perhaps there was a good script at the beginning of this production but it certainly didn't transfer to the screen. Low budget, B-movie acting. I have to wonder how such movies get the funding and how a lead could go to someone with horrendous acting abilities, Jackie Kreisler (leave your hair alone... we get it that you are trying to act distraught). There are no likeable characters in this "sci-fi thriller". As original as it's title. There are about six movies available called "Dreamland". Your time would be better spent picking one of the other five.
