Only son Daniel attends a family reunion and discovers what a huge extended family he has. There's something quite seductive about this movie that keeps drawing you into this bizarre yet familiar world of the extended family. The complicated and ridiculous network of relations is explored here very effectively. Underneath the sillyness there's a feeling of uneasiness that we're all familiar with. Fabulous cast but Matthew MacFadyen and Michael Gambon are especially good here.

I usually enjoy British comedy/drama but this story was way too slow. None of the characters are especially interesting or endearing. The ending was a disappointment too. Rent something else.

Too slow. What is the plot? Rented it because I like Matthew M. Couldn't figure out if meant to be a comedy or a drama.
