After being injured in a train wreck, salesman Pedro Siqueras (David Opatoshu) is told by a doctor that he will never walk again. But after spending time in a wheelchair, Siqueras discovers that he has regained the use of his legs. However, he does not reveal this recovery, having already collected a sizeable insurance settlement.
