Worried about his failing eyesight, Webber (James Pickens Jr.) confides his fears to Derek (Patrick Dempsey), who makes a startling suggestion. After a night of passion with one of the nurses, George (T.R. Knight) becomes the latest victim of a sexually transmitted disease that has inflicted several other members of the hospital staff. Burke (Isaiah Washington) discovers that his best friend Bill (Wayne Wilderson) is a patient at Seattle Grace, a fact that casts unpleasant aspersions upon Bill's wife. And Izzie (Katherine Heigl) and Cristina (Sandra Oh) are caught in the crossfire as the family of an alcoholic bickers over the man's medical treatment.
