Like Spinal Tap for the jam band nation. Has it's funny moments, has it's not-funny moments and plenty of story in between. Definately a movie that'll want u watching again, just to see what funny little things you missed along the way

A funny mockumentrey if you are into the jam band scene. Nice cameos by Bob Weir, Warren Haynes and Mike Gordon (Phish). They should have shortened the recording of their album segment and included the outtakes of the High Times interview and the icons talking about the bands sticker. Lers Claypool does a good job as lapdog and the guy who plays Gordo was right on with the hippie guitarist role. Also would have had more of the bands fans in the movie and the tapers played by seth Green and Matt Stone.

Not as obvious a mockumentary as SPINAL TAP or THE RUTLES, but still, a pretty accurate (and hilarious) skewering of the jam-band scene. I gotta admit "Burning Man" sticks in the brain, though. My favorite bits: the bass player talking about living in a tree house (in his parents backyard), Lapdog and his glassblowing hobby, "The Cube",  the bartender venting about the Grateful Dead, the therapy session with the band and "Dr. Bucky" and  the golf game with  the laid back new age dude with anger issues.  "Look! There's Jerry!"
