This romantic comedy is neither romantic due to zero chemistry between the two leads or worthy of being called a comedy, though there is one laugh out loud moment with Margaret Cho. The movie is peppered with a supporting cast of very good actors. Unfortunately, as is common with most movies where two cultures interact, one of the two must be overtly evil, ridiculous or poorly acted and this film does nothing to avoid this cliche. The audio defaults to stereo. As for extras, there's a "Feature Commentary With Cast" with the two leads, a "Feature Commentary with Crew" with the director, producer and set decorator, a "Deleted Scenes" option (8:17 min) and a trailer for another film. Not really recommended.

I wasn't certain what the comparison to Cinderella except that she was named after the Chinese Cinderella, but besides that I liked this movie. Some subtitles, but nice love story and good humor.
