It's hard to understand how this could have stayed on the air for 4 seasons. It started out funny & clever, but into the 2nd season the writing became so sophomoric and inane we were mystified. I have to say that my wife and I are huge, huge fans of "The Larry Sanders Show" which may be the result of Garry growing and improving over time, and/or partnering with more sophisticated and talented writers than on the Garry Shandling Show.

Garry Shandling is so creative! He was so ahead of anything that was on T.V. at the time. Very clever writing. Needless to say I'm a big fan.
