This is a wholesome entertainer that would appeal to all audiences. Whacky plot, great characters and amazing performances! Will keep you laughing, or at least smiling throughout the film! A great way to bring such highly accomplished actors together!

I first saw this movie in the theatre and thought is was pretty funny. I rented for my husband but he was real impressed. He stayed interesded about half way through. Over all I thought it average.

It's hard to explain why I liked the movie. The acting was mostly just okay, the characters lacked depth, the plot had issues and the resolution was kind of cliched and unfulfilling. There were a lot of innuendo based gags in the film that didn't really contribute to anything but the PG-13 rating. And yet, there were some real connection points. Like when Tim Allen is grazing on his salad at the dinner table while eveyone else ate meat and potatos. I've been there. Sometimes you really do want to just take a bite out of the stick of butter. I found myself laughing a lot. I'm glad I didn't pay movie theater prices for the film, but renting it was okay.
